hello guys,
I'm about to deploy a new HP DL 585 server with windows server 2003
enterprise edition.
It's actually two of them that will be used as a cluster for sql
services.
the two servers have three hard disks with 74 gb each.
what I want to do is use raid 1+0 so that I have two hard disks
mirrored and a spare one.
The other partitions (quorum and applications) will come from our san
(so no need to use the local hard disks for other partitions other
than the boot one).
Is it ok to create a single boot partition of 74 gb ? is that too big
for some reasons ? or is it ok ? what do you think ?
thanks for your opinion...
