receing phone calls your computer is at risk/infected claim they are from microsoft tech support

received two telephone calls from area code 971 217 9518. stating they are from Micosoft tech support and that my computer has an infection an is at risk. Is this a valid format that microsoft utilizes or is this a fake/scam?
