Hello

I have just recently had the PC using Windows XP Pro reboot as soon as
started with a "rebooted from bugcheck" message.

I have a couple of mindump files.

I have tried using WinDbg to look at one of these files but it says
Symbol search path is: *** Invalid *** etc etc

One of these files is below for you to look at - any ideas please?!

Cheers

Geoff

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was:
0x10000050 (0xf0009973, 0x00000000, 0xbf8243a5, 0x00000002). A dump
was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini081909-01.dmp.

Geoff,

Do you have the symbols downloaded?

If you use one of the bedug tools from Technet, you can open those dump
files & scroll to near the bottom for the info (filename, memory,
read/write...)

No and I simply have not yet been able to understand what I need to
do! I have seen a symbols collection on an MS site whcih was 209MB -
do I download and install this?

I have downloaded and installed WinDbg etc but when I looked at the
minidump files with this I get the error message in my earlier
posting.

??!!
