So I like many others have a problem with the SPS update. My computer is
stuck at "Configuring Updates Stage 3 of 3 - 0%" and keeps rebooting. Most
of the posts here have suggested restoring the computer. However, I have a
serious dilemma because even in safe mode, the computer continues to reboot
and I can't find my Vista DVD. In fact, I don't really recall receiving that
because it came already installed on my computer. Anyways, I dont' have it,
so I really have a problem.

Any suggestions would be heavily appreciated!

So what happens if you have to reinstall Vista? If I was you, I would get the DVD or
explore the other means that the dealer who sold you the computer has done to enable you
to restore Vista in emergency situation.

FYI

The update is not installed successfully, you receive a message, and the computer restarts
when you try to install an update in Windows Vista
