Is it possible to convert a MS-backup (winXP) "on-disk" catalog file
(extension .V01) to a text file (or other) so I can load it into a
database?
or is there any information on the internal format of a .V01 file?
I have a box full of tapes (SDLT 320), I can create "on-disk
catalog's" (using MS-Backup) of the tapes, but I cannot find a way of
turning the .v01 files into a readable format.
The only way I can see of doing this, is by restoring every tape on to
a hard drive, and using a 'catalog the hard drive program'.
This would take some time for a 100 or so tapes...
Hope somebody can help.
