RE: Rude replies

I agree. To an expert there may be such things as stupid questions and
ignorant people that don't deserve the time of a reply. The purpose of the
MicroSoft forums is to educate people of all skill levels through questions
and answers. Therefore, there is no such thing as a stupid question.

Neil you are always going to get the abusive types on newsgroups, it's par
for the course. Although I agree you shouldn't have to put up with it! It
doesn't take people long to see who posts abusive replies; the easiest thing
to do is 'ignore' them and not rise to the occasion. They are only abusive,
not because a posters question is stupid, but because, they themselves (the
abuser's) need to be the centre of attention. We know they are there just
let them get on with their sad lives. If they get ignored long enough, they
will go away.

And everyone has the option to Killfile anyone they prefer not to hear
from (if they have a newsreader worth its salt).
