I am having the same exact problem with my desktop. I keep getting an error
msg
" windows cannot display the volume control on the taskbar because the volume
control program has not been installed. to install it, use add remove
programs in control panel."
when i go to add remove... i cant seem to get anything done to download and
install volume control. I'm pretty sure I don't have my XP backup CD
anymore, and every site I've visited to dowload a driver seems to be of no
help. Anyone have any suggestions???
