Mr. Bowers:

Thank you for the helpful information you posted last week. This helped
point me in the right direction w/similar issue regarding Dot Net 1 security
update after receivng repeated failed updates referencing 1603's and 1706's.

Is it necessary to have ALL Dot Net versions installed? Can't I just have
the most current version (3) installed on my XP workstation?

Any insight on this would be so appreciated.

Applications are written for a specific version of the framework so you
will need to have all the versions installed that are required by whatever
.net applicaions (if any) that you are using.
