I just want to thank you for asking this question, I needed it answered
as well. I followed Andre De Costa's instructions...I right clicked the
Mahjong Deluxe shortcut on my desktop, followed the suggested
proceedures clicking on Administrator and checked the Windows XP
compatibility mode box and, voila, success! But I didn't have the exact
same problem you had. I loaded the Mahjong game up on my new computer,
entered the registration key and when asked to dowload the new Mahjong
patch (wouldn't let me play Mahjong until I did so), it started the
dowload, but then when the patch download finished, the game went Kaput!
It just shut completely down.
These instructions took care of the problem! I can't live without my
Pogo, I'm an addict! lol So thank you again and I love this site! I'm
sure I'll need help in the future as I'm not all that familiar with this
Vista operating system yet.
