According to some of the other posts all you have to do is let Linux sit
for a few minutes and it will core dump all by itself!

It's classic Linux advocacy.

What the Linux loons need to do is stop making new defective distributions,
sit back and listen to the users as to what they don't like about Linux and
then create a distribution that solves these problems.

Until the Linux community can figure that out and implement that or a
similar strategy, desktop Linux is forever lost to the distribution of the
week club and will "flounder" until it finally dies.
