Thanks for the help guys. No jump problem and the bios does detects it.
But there seems indeed to be some hardware problem since the hd light
is always on.. or maybe this is usual before the boot (I don't
remenber).

I did a
BOOTCFG /REBUILD
FIXMBR
FIXBOOT
on recover console, but it was of no good.
