Im having the same problem with the stop error. I have done the driver
verification and my new BSOD (the one before windows is supposed to
boot) says something about "videoprt.sys" and "wdm driver error 216." I
have my minidump and was wondering who i can send it to. Ive been
getting the BSOD a lot when im playing games and have noticed windows
acting strangely. I have a clean virus scan and have cleaned any
spyware. Thanks for any help in advance

Here are my specs

Amd athlon 64 x2 6000+ 3.01 ghz
ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe 570
2 gb RAM
Geforce 7950GT
Windows xp sp2

Background information on Stop Error message

0x000000B8: ATTEMPTED_SWITCH_FROM_DPC
These are generally hardware issues (which often means driver issues).
The articles given below are provided more as examples of the types of
situations that trigger this error, rather than concrete solutions. As a
rule, be sure you have the latest Service Pack edition of your Windows
operating system and are using the best device drivers and software
versions. After that, do normal hardware troubleshooting for the device
inplicated.
