Razer has delayed the release of their Nabu smartband while they certify that the device is hypoallergenic. This is an effort to avoid the skin irritation problems that caused Fitbit to recall their Force band. The device was originally supposed to be released at the end of March, but some customers have reported that Razer sent them a notice informing them of the delay. The Nabu will now be available in late May or early June, according to Cedric Houston:

Got an email from razergaming letting me know that the Nabu is being pushed back to late May/ Early June. Which isn’t a problem because they are taking the time to prevent what happend to the Fitbit flex.

Did you order a Nabu band, and are you disappointed by the delay? Let us know below in the comments.
