Random restarts! pls help me

ocassionally my computer restarts alone or does not boot at all. in event
viewer i noticed that the below event is recorded with every restart:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: a54mwksn
Event Category: None
Event ID: 9
Date: 28/09/2007
Time: 05:58:38: PM
User: N/A
Computer: MY-RIG
Description:
The description for Event ID ( 9 ) in Source ( a54mwksn ) cannot be found.
The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or
message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be
able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and
Support for details. The following information is part of the event:
\Device\Scsi\a54mwksn1.

the event source value is always different.

can anyone help me pls

i am not sure but i dont have any SCSI cards or SATA drives installed...

should i perhaps disable the SATA controller??

what might this error mean?

Not sure, it may mean you didn't install the correct drivers or other
issue. If you don't use it, disable it, and see if that cures the issue.

i replaced the PSU and problem seems to have gone...
