Windows 2003 RAID 1 drive booting issue.

We have HP server with Two SATA drive , both Mirrored (RAID 1) with windows
software. (Disk management)
we are trying to replace both drives.
I was able to replace Drive 1 by breaking the mirror and rebuilding the
mirror last week. RAID 1 is working and online.

Now I am trying to replace Drive 0 with new drive and system will not boot.
I replaced drive 1 in drive 0 slot, still will not boot.
I have not broken the mirror.

Question: How do i make Drive 1 or New drive Bootable?

Please help.

Do you have the entry in boot.ini for drive 1?

in c:\boot.ini, you should have two entries, one for harddrive 0 and one for
drive 1.

Yes,

here is the copy.
both works fine
it's only when i change the drive in slot 0 it does not work. i don't get
this option as it does not boot.
I even put the drive 1 in drive 0 slot with no avail.
