On "C" I have Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit
On "D" I have Windows 7 Enterprise 64-Bit
Following advice in an Avast e-mail to Restart my Enterprise in Safe Mode, it has now gone into a cycle of endless Restarts. The computer Restarts just before I reach the Desktop. I have run StartUp Repair three times and also tried System Restore. As a last resort, I have attempted to re-install Windows Enterprise but get a blank screen (not quite black, more dark grey) immediately after the Press any key to boot from CD/DVD screen.
Can anyone suggest the best course of action to get my Enterprise back?
As a last resort, going into Computer Management, which is the safest action to perform, in respect of the "D" partition without disturbing the "C" partition with the Windows 7 Professional on it? Should I format the "D" or simply delete it and start over?
