Question about "Enable TCP/IP Filtering"

If you open up your Local Area Connection, then click on Properties,
then select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties, then
click Advanced, then click on the Options tab and select TCP/IP
filtering, and then click on Properties, there is a checkbox that says
"Enable TCP/IP Filtering (All adapters)".

What if I checked that box but left all 3 radio buttons set to "Permit
All"? Is that the same as leaving the box unchecked?

Leave this setting alone if you do not have any real good reason to use it.

There is a hardening guide that recommends that the box be checked.
But I was just wondering if I were to check that box, but then leave
all 3 radio buttons set to "Permit All", then would that be the same
as leaving the box unchecked? If so, then I won't bother checking it.
