My windows 8.1 for desktop just updated and I lost a lot of the features I liked about windows 8. Now mind you, I am not happy with windows 8 format and only got it because my new computer was a gift. But now it is all screwed up. When I first got windows 8, I liked some of the features on the Start Menu. IT was nice that my email did a split screen when I clicked on a link in the email. But with these newest updates, I lost that feature. IN fact, I lost a lot of the nice features of the Start Menu. Now everything goes through the Desktop and I no longer see the point of using the Start Menu, It is just easier to use the Desktop screen for everything. However, the new updates took away my custom Desktop Picture. I want my Desktop Picture back! I want my split screen back! ****, just give me Windows XP back!
