I have an old PS2 keyboard. I also have an adapter that has PS2 to
USB.

I tried using it but nothing happens.

Suggestions?

If the keyboards software from the mfg is installed, you wouldnt get any
action,
no drivers exist for it.If you want to retry & no software is running for
it,open
device mgr, scroll to keyboard, expand the tree,R.click on the hardware text,
select "uninstall" do not restart pc,close out, shutdown pc.Install youre
adapter,
restart pc....

The adapter has to be specifically for use with a keyboard. It should have a
symbol on it somewhere. If the symbol looks like a mouse, you have the wrong
type..

If the keyboard wasn't initially designed to work with a ps2/USB
adapter, it won't. Why not just buy a USB keyboard?
