I am have a Acer Aspire 5220 running windows 8 pro, I recently installed the graphics driver. Upon reboot the start screen (with all the apps) disappears and I am left with just a blank backround. I can switch to the desktop but I cant access the sidebar.
When I click on the system icons the computer freezes up briefly then nothing. The computer was running ok before but then it booted up to a black screen with a moveable cursor. So I refreshed the computer using a recovery disc. The display drivers were deleted
so I downloaded new ones and now I have this problem. Also the computer runs slow. The display adapter is a Nvidia 7000m.
