I have problems with installation of Windows XP OEM version from day one in
September when I bought it. It did not allow me to register or install
anything on my PC. After more than month of phone contact with technical
support I was able to register it. But I still experience problem with
installation of software. Today I spoke with 4 representatives of technical
support, the last one hang up on me advicing before to ask support online and
claiming that it will be free but saying that by phone they charge more than
$70. Her name was Stacey and she refused to give her ID. Is that right that
online support of Windows XP free?

What is the make and model of this PC? When you try to install programs,
what exactly happens? What is the exact text of any error messages you
have received?

Microsoft does not support OEM installations, online, telephone, mail, fax,
or otherwise.

Support is the responsibility of the OEM provider.

Contact whoever sold you the software.
