Hi,
I am currently unable to install updates be it Windows Updates, Java updates, Skype updates or any other program updates. I believe this to be a Windows Installer problem and have tried every potential solution I could find online including making sure
the service is started, registering the service via the cmd prompt and even updating the Registry.
I do not know what else to try.
I am running Vista SP2 32-bit.
The error message always says that "another installation is in progress" when it isn't (or it is but it doesn't update successfully).
I am grateful for any other ideas.
