I have just tried to install my new Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 1000
set. I have installed the IntelliType and IntelliPoint software (version 6.1)
from the supplied CD. However, neither the mouse nor the Keyboard work for
one simple reason. There seems to be no supplied driver for the USB receiver
"Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop (r) 2.10". Device Manager shows this with
a yellow exclamation. I have tried uninstalling an reinstalling the supplied
drivers. I have tried version 5.5 of the drivers too. No luck.
Where should I be getting the USB driver from for the receiver?
I have a Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-9 motherboard in my PC, running XP SP2.
