My HP laptop running windows 8.1 on start-up gets 5 bars of wifi. Over about half an hour to an hour it slowly goes down to only getting 1-2 bars of wifi signal. If I disable the wifi adapter, then enable it and restart I get 5 bars back, however the problem of slowly losing wifi signal continues. I know that it is not our modem/router as my housemate sitting right next to me always gets 5 bars wifi signal. I just don't know what else to do...someone help? Thanks!
