When I open my task manager, using the ctrl/alt/del keys the "tabs" are no
longer showing in the task manager window. I have booted my pc more than
once. problem still exists. I am running windows XP home edition, toshiba
laptop < 1 year old. problem started in the last few days. thank you

Hello,

To restore task manager just double click on the border of the window. This
is going to make task manager look like how it normally looks.

Hope this helps.

You're running in what's called "Small Footprint" or Tiny Footprint"
Mode. To change back and forth from this mode to regular mode, just
double-click anywhere on the border.
