Re: Problem has been found on my dlink gwl-g122 after updated windows
It shown "Aircon xxx cannot start ....missing some dll file in the windows
folder".
At sp2 times, the gwl-g122 could operate after unplug and restart but not
now....

Windows XP SP3-RC1 is still a "beta". It might be premature for DLink to
have an appropriate driver file that is compatible at this stage.
Re: Problem has been found on my dlink gwl-g122 after updated windows
Depending on which revision the G122 is, Dlink may not have written a new XP
driver for the device since 2004. Revision C has the most recent drivers
from Oct. this year, drivers for the other 4 revisions range between
2004-2006, unless MS update has a driver that Dlink doesn't list.

Re: Problem has been found on my dlink gwl-g122 after updated windows
I think you meant Airplus... Aircon doesn't sound like a D-Link program. It
could be that the service pack re-enabled the built in Windows Wireless Zero
Configuration service and created a conflict. When you originally installed
the G122 it should have disabled the Windows service as that does the same
thing as the Airplus WLAN utility, configuring the device settings and
managing wireless connectivity.
Check in the Services control applet to see if Wireless Zero is running.. it
should be disabled if you intend to continue using the manufacturer supplied
WLAN connection utility. If Wireless Zero Configuration is already disabled
or if you still get the error you can try either re-installing the DLink
wireless lan utility or you can do without it entirely. Uninstall the Dlink
utility and its auxiliary services and just use Windows' Wireless Zero
utility to control the DWL-G122 instead. Only the device driver is required
to be installed for the G122.
