Environment: Windows 2008 Server + MDT 2010 Windows 7 x64 + MS Office Pro 2010 w/SP1
Problem 1:
I'm trying to deploy MS-Office 2010 through MDT 2010. Using the OCT to create an MSP file for a complet silent installation and it works like a charm.
Nevertheless, I want know deploy the Office adding few languages packs. So I follow the steps:
1) copy to the network installation the languages pack in the same folder of MS-Office installation (OFFICE14)
2) create a new MSP file over OCT and import the old MSP configuration
The problem now is when I launch the Setup.exe of the office, it asks me to select what I want to install:
- MS Office 2010
- Language pack A
- Language pack B
- etc
then the setup is no more completely silent.
Is there anyway to bypass the apps selection process to automatically select Office 2010? Actually, I try to select it manually in order to see if really all languages will be installed and it does, so it's great but I saw a new problem.
Problem 2:
In the Start menu\All Programs\Microsoft Office\ before I had "Microsoft Office 2010 Tools" and now with the language pack installed I have instead: "Strumenti di Microsoft Office 2010". It changed the language of some part of the menu to Italien.
Any help on this will be greatful.
