Printer use 100% CPU during print

Hello,
I have following problem:
Printer Cannon BJC-5500 Buble Jet when I print use 100% CPU.
Printer is conected by LPT port (this printer don't have USB). I discover
that 100% resource use parport.sys driver.
Any idea how to resolve high CPU usage problem during print ?

There are no XP drivers for the Canon 5xxx series, so you're going to get
error messages whatever you do.
