Hi there, I'm fairly new to linux so please bear with me! I'm currently trying to set up an ad-hoc network to print from an ipad to a canon pixma mg7150 via my little eeepc running xfce. I've modified the CUPS configuration file and printing works fine when everything is connected to my home network, whether the printer is connected via usb to the eeepc or directly to the network via wireless, everything works fine. However on initialising the ad-hoc network, the printer fails to find the network, and if I connect it to the eeepc via usb and search for airprint printers on the ipad it does not show up.

I'm sure it must be a setting I am missing on the ad-hoc network but at present I do not understand enough to find the problem - any help would be much appreciated!
