i don't know if anyone else has noticed this but when I change my power setting from balanced to high performance on my laptop and when i start on battery and not connected to the AC adapter, i notice a far longer connection speed to my wireless router when i log into the desktop. I got curious because sometimes it wouldn't connect and come up with the star thingy and i would have to connect again but when i go into balance or start on battery, the connection speed is almost instantaneous. I have tried uninstalling my wireless driver and let the computer reinstall the driver itself and that fixed it a bit, i could connect automatically, faster but still not as fast as on Balanced mode. Someone please tell me what to do because the problem is back again.
