Hello,

I have power options properties set to turn off the monitor after 5 minutes
and turn off hard disk to never and no screen saver. I have 3 monitors. If I
reboot the monitors turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity, but after working
on the computer for an hour or two the montiors stop turning off after 5
minutes of inactivity.

Using XP Pro.

Can someone help?
Thank you.

When this occurs check task manager to see if you have something running in
the background.
Also, since you are shutting down the monitors anyway , set up a
screensaver. (select Win XP)

Frequently something is running in the background but it works. For instance
right now I had a backup running, and several web sites were open, but I
stepped away and the monitors went to black. This is after a reboot of the
computer. But the history of this is that after some period of time it will
stop working again. However, if it does stop working again I will check Task
Manager and see if there is something I don't know about.

Thanks.
