Possible Virus

Alright, so going through my PC and uninstalling unused software, I stumbled upon a program that was installed without my consent. While trying to uninstall it, it took my to a website. So, to uninstall this program, I have to install a program to uninstall it. It must have gotten past my antivirus application. Is there a way to uninstall it without installing the possible trojan/virus?
