Dear friends:

Please, recommend me a good, cheap (or better free) and simple DVD
player for XP. One with simple menus, I want to select the language of
subtitles, for example, but no more sophistication.

I don't want to pay US$ 69 for Corel's WinDVD.

Thanks a lot. Any hint?

Thanks

Sure. Windows Media Player 11 and install the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack
version 4.0. Free as the wind.

VLC player (http://www.videolan.org/) plays almost anything you throw at it.
