Photo Story 3 No sound on uploaded Music

Hi installed Photo Story 3 on my computer (XP Version) and when I load music from my library (All my music is MP3 format) it loads some music and not others. Error message shows the file isn't in the correct format, when they're all in the same format. When I finally get to choose a valid music file there's no sound on play back. I set the volume on Photo Story to High and still no sound. What do I need to do?
