This from "MS Help" under Granting Permissions.

"To configure security for a scheduled task, you add or remove a user on the
Security tab. Once a user name is added to a scheduled task, you can set
permissions for that user's involvement with the task. "

Where does the "Security Tab" live?

Thanks

Xan

Right-click on the task, choose properties...

On XP Pro it's to the right of Settings tab.

Gordon,
Thank you for your reply.
Let me explain,
I have instructions on the heel of my boots,
so would you be so kind as to elaborate
as to WHAT and WHERE I am clicking?
In other words where do I start?
Thanks
Xan

Start-All programs-Accessories-System Tools-Scheduled tasks. Open the
folder, right-click on a task, choose Properties and you will see the
Security tab..

HTH

If you have WinXP Home, you need this to get the security tab...

• Security tab in XP Home (like in XP Pro)
1) Download the x86 (Intel) version of the Security Configuration
Manager (SCESP4I.EXE) from

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/245216

2) Double click SCESP4I.EXE and extract the contents to a temporary
folder
3) Make a system restore point or other type of backup. This program
does not come with an uninstaller
4) Right-click Setup.inf and select Install
5) Reboot
