I gave my other desktop to my son to use. It is running XP Home with
SP2 and IE7. My account, an administrator account, has no problems. Adobe
Flash Player works fine and I can view a YouTube video. His account, a
limited account, seems to have problems. Flash player does not work and when
he attempts to view a YouTube video he gets only a smaller, empty box where
the video should be showing. The box shows that the video is loading but
nothing ever loads.
I have changed his account to an administrator account and the problem
remains. I have deleted his account and created a new account and the
problem persists. I have also installed the Flash Player on his account,
both as a limited account and administrator account and it makes no
difference.
What is the problem or what am I doing wrong? I'm sure the solution is
a simple one but I'm simply not smart enough to know what it is. I would
appreciate any help you can give me.
