I don't know how this was installed. I have grandkids and 2 "non-readers" for a while so I have been putting up with this for a while. Just recently I decided to unload some of my cable bill and utilize my laptop for tv. So I access Hulu Plus and AcornTV via my laptop with HDMI cable, works great especially since I am aging and eye site is not what it once was viewing my screen on the 46 inch flat screen is wonderful for me. This PC Mighty Max is really causing a great annoyance:
I contacted MS about this problem and they sent instructions that I had already done:
PC Mighty Max is pinned to my task manager "tray icon". Windows 7, deleted via Control Panel and deleted from Registry but the freakin' thing is still coming up with issues to be attended to. Same 131 issues it has had for months.
I cannot contact them they have nothing at the site to lead me to anyone. Believe me if I get my hands on them they will be sorry. It pops up and will not close thus disturbing my Hulu and Acorn viewing via HDMI to tv.
I know it's simple but I can't find any trace of it on my computer so I can't get it totally gone. Sorry I seem crazy but this thing is driving me insane. I can only shut it off, via Task Manager, that works only for the current session. Other than that there is no trace of it in the registry in my OS, I just cannot ferret the thing out completely. I consider it to be Malware.
