I seldom use Paint. But last week when i need to use it, it disappear. I need
it now and I know that I can have it back by reinstalling my Windows XP or
format my computer and reinstall Windows XP, but I wish I does not need to do
this. I want my Paint application back without reinstalling my Windows XP but
just by install the Paint application.

I went searching the Paint application at Microsoft.com and also the Windows
XP instalation CD but I just could not find the Paint setup file.

Can you guys help me by telling me where to get the Windows XP's Paint setup
file?
(I hope that it is free because I do buy my Windows XP genuinely.)

Thank you.

Look in C:/WINDOWS/system32/mspaint.exe. If mspaint.exe is still there, click
on the icon and see if it opens.

Open Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, click the Add/Remove Windows
components button in the left pane. Locate Accessories, double-click,
do the same with the next Accessories, deselect Paint, close the applet.
Go back in and add Paint.
