Hi Perrera,

Why do you need 2 file share programs? If they both load into memory,
your computer could take a small performance hit because of the RAM used.

Add/Remove Programs should have an uninstaller for them. Or the program
folder in All Programs. No guarantee's there won't be leftover files,
and if you're worried about the program deleting needed files, perform a
System Restore prior to the uninstall. If something goes awry, you can
restore.

A "safe number" isn't relative. If you have minimal RAM (256 meg), 1 or
2 programs will bog the system down. If you have 1 gig or more, you can
run 5 to 10 programs (depending on size). RAM is key. The more RAM,
the more programs will run "smoothly". CPU speed and video memory are
also important. If you have only 256 meg of RAM and a shared memory
video chip (uses RAM rather than dedicated memory), that will be one
slow computer.

It's highly recommended NOT to use file sharing programs. You will only
end up with the very brand new viruses and/or trojans.

File sharing programs are vector for infection. Use with great caution.
There is no inherent problem with having more than one. The issue of doing
a complete uninstall depends on the uninstaller provided by the program
vendor. Most leave residual files or folders that can be removed.
Sometimes you need to manually search the registry for entries to remove but
in general orphaned entries in the registry won't cause a problem. Do not
use an automated registry cleaner.

There is no fixed number for your last question. Depends on the system
capability, ram, CPU, etc. All systems will bog down eventually.

Please remove all file sharing programs ASAP.
