I use Outlook almost exclusively for Contacts. I don't want to wait for it
to open the InBox and count all the messages before I can click on and open
Contacts. Is there a way to set it to open directly to Contacts as the
default rather than InBox?

go to tools ==> options
click on the Other Tab
Click advanced options
Where it says start up in this folder click browse. Choose the contacts.

Ask in a group with OUTLOOK in the title. Notice this group lacks
that.

Ask elsewhere.

Fabulous! This answered my question and solved the problem perfectly! Thank
you so much for your time in responding.
