Microsoft Media Center Edition owners ( or renters, as maybe is more
legally correct to say here in free America ) are now at the mercy of
yet another lunacy, people whom enjoy recording cable for personal use
are required to purchase hard disk recording in place of inexpensive
DVD recording media to be within the compliance of copyright law.

Is government complex? What happens when my media center license
expires, i'm s**T out of luck.

Depends if copyright over rules the right of free speech, and to learn
and study!

Anyone eager to point me to internationally legal tools for cracking
a personal use copy of My Friend Flicka, ( reply to
mmarkaawwashb...@bbigfoot.com mm->m,aa->a,ww->w, bb->b ) ( SNIPPED ) (
ms's BIGBLUEBROTHER IS CYCed with reading about dvr-ms law )

DRM was the word, and the word was the law, and the law was good ...

for a basic introduction of DRM dvr-ms, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVR-MS

OT: become a licensed pyro-technician,

why not?

Happy Fourth of July Freedom American friends, ( PLEASE BE VERY
CAREFUL, REALLY )

regards,

Meaning, hypocrisy should be a subject of suppression and hidden from
public review?

is Microsoft's endorsement and support of unfair law, simply
government business as usual?

In the first place this has nothing to do with this forum, go find another
outlet to vent and secondly, go complain to congress, MS isn't the
goevernment.

Ya, Microsoft doesn't lobby for truth in government, Now I
understand,
Microsoft's lobbies have a greater priority.

Bob,
"monopolistic integration of mostly stolen intellectual properties" ;)
I developed for MS thru an in-directed employment. I have personally
chatted with Bill Gates about a multi trillion dollar open source
computer chip proposal about six months after I was dismissed from
an intellectual property theft ring for developing to much technology,
( ei for integrating my own software, ) but hey Bob, you tell \them\
the real truth. And I can point to my work in 95, 98, ME and XP, but
it wasn't really \my\ work but that of my integrated intellectual
properties.
Have a good one little buddy, you may have a lot to learn.

Freedom is not free. Those people whom sacrifice essential freedoms,
deserve none.

Me against a thousand M$ attorneys, .... ya, time to kick
some butt!

Regards,

It is not the thousand M$ attorneys you need to be against, You need to
write letters not Email to your congress person and senators.

Let them know that you as a voter are unhappy with the Digital Millennium
act of 1998.

Before that act was passed by Congress, the regular Copyright law applied,
And media producers did not have the right to take over your media.

I would like to trim a show I recorded on MCE from HBO, nothing I have found
will allow me to trim the show in any way. I recorded a one hour slice, to
be sure I got the 30 minutes I wanted to keep, now I can not edit the
recording.

I can re-record the part I want to keep, by playing a VCR tape of the show,
but that seems to be the only way I can do what I want to do.

Thank you for your consideration.

However, I have often mention a mysteriuos "You are SOL" being cast
upon my life ever since I disclosed a simplistic "LEGO"TM type
computer chip formula.

I believe I maybe one of the few citizens of America to exist within
every state and federal legislative *and* legal help exclude list.

Have you ever tried an electronic eavesdropper problem to state
authorities? Here is a funny one, a hallucinogenic chemical warfare
report to local police. Ya, it's a roll in dead laughter all the way!

Just kidding,

Regards,
