At Microsoft and Oracle, we are focused on prioritizing customer needs for security, reliability, and superior cloud services while helping you to meet regulatory and compliance requirements with Oracle Database@Azure. Underscoring our unwavering commitment to providing you with greater flexibility, we launched Oracle Exadata Database Service on Oracle Database@Azure along with plans to roll out to 15 regions around the world by the end of this year. Today, Oracle Exadata Database Service on Oracle Database@Azure is generally available in five distinct regions: Microsoft Azure Canada Central, East US, France Central, Germany West Central, and UK South. Now seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Azure, customers can effortlessly migrate and manage Oracle-based applications on Azure, enhancing their ability to drive innovation.
We also recently announced the general availability of Oracle Autonomous Database on Oracle Database@Azure which is now available in four regions worldwide: Microsoft Azure Canada Central, East US, Germany West Central, and UK South. Autonomous Database provides application developers with scalable database services that deliver optimal performance, security, and availability, enabling developers to accelerate app innovation, easily provision an industry-leading data platform, and consume Oracle services as if they were part of Azure natively.
Microsoft and Oracle are proud to maintain commitment to compliance, relentlessly enhancing security and trust. Today, we are pleased to announce that Oracle Database@Azure has reached a pivotal milestone by achieving compliance with a comprehensive array of industry-leading global certifications, including PCI-DSS, SOC Type 1, SOC Type 2, SOC Type 3, C5, ISO 9001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27701, ISO 20000-1, ISO 27018, CSA STAR and HIPAA. These developments emphasize the growing sophistication of the Oracle Database@Azure offering and our steadfast focus on exceeding enterprise customer expectations around agility, resiliency, and security.
