I have had windows 8 on a hp Pavilion computer for a couple years. Recently I can't open any of my docs and keep getting a note from Microsoft to purchase windows 10 or some other upgrade or action before I can open my docs. I have read all the other notes and advice but nothing works. Appreciate any help to be able to use the Microsoft program I purchased vice buying an upgrade.
