Thanks for letting everyone know how clueless you are regarding Ubuntu.
Shouldn't you be running your anti malware apps or anti virus apps or
some of the "real work" that you can do with Windows?

You forgot to mention the price of support when the Urbumtoo 1d10ts blame you for
what they can't fix or get working for you, and resort to payed support.
Experienced very similar a few years back with RedHat, after a support quote the
company made a great business decision to remove it, put Windows 2000 on, and all
worked happily ever after.

Most of the posts are about how to use it and the differences from
Windows. You should read what you cite before citing it. There is a
learning curve but it isn't all that steep.

This from somebody that has never installed Ubuntu and, as always,
doesn't know what he's talking about. Learning is an ongoing process,
both with Windows and Linux so, Frank, you have to specify what you
think they learn that provokes them to "leave Ubuntu". Of course, you
won't specify because you can't and now it's time for you to use your
limited vocabulary and start your usual lies, insults, profanity and
bluster.

Back two years ago. Not appropriate today as Ubuntu has improved
immensely since then. In short, you don't know what you're talking about
but that won't stop you from trying and revealing what a low life troll
you really are.

IOW, you haven't checked out Hardy, the best distro so far so you,
naturally, don't know what you're talking about.

You're probably infected and don't even know it. It is a known fact that
Windows is very vulnerable and can be compromised easily. It is also a
known fact that Linux is bulletproof in comparison. I just cleaned up an
XP computer that had dozens of viruses and malware on it.

Eat shit die asshole! I've installed and deleted more linux distros over
the last decade than you've ever hear or known about. If linux is for
you great! But this ng is not about linux, it's about Vista. So take
your soap box over to your open sores home base where they will receive
you with open arms.

Sorry, you are wrong, most of the posts are for asking for help with
hardware that doesn't run, software that doesn't run, most of which there
is no answers. Why would you think that i wouldn't actually read the
posts before i submitted the link?

A forum for beginners and you're surprised that some are having
problems? Look at this very newsgroup and all the problems that people
are having with Vista. I just perused the Ubuntu forum and people ARE
getting answers.

Those groups are moderated. My suggesting an alternative to Vista is
only troublesome to people like Frank. Are you like Frank?

Also, each and every one of the people in the Ubuntu forums have heard
of Windows. This is not true the other way round. Hence, my noble
mission to spread the good word.

In addition, I have installed Ubuntu on dozens of machines with no
problems whatsoever but I take care to make sure the computer and its
peripherals are Linux friendly. For example, if a client has a Lexmark
printer, I recommend they replace it with an HP or Epsom. If they have a
Creative Audigy sound card, I recommend they use one that's Linux
friendly, etc. Most of the problems people are experiencing on those
forums would have been solved with a little research prior to purchase
of hardware.

You are a known and admitted liar. No one believes one word from your
lying mouth.

your stupid insults notwithstanding.

You are nothing but a lying linux troll. Everyone in here knows it.
You're sick in your head.

I ain't going anywhere and
> there's nothing that you can do about it, troll.

Ahhh...the arrogance of a beaten liar. We've heard that weak, "little
boy" retort from you many times in the past.
Face it loser, you are known as a liar and a troll. No one in here
respects you at all.
Stay, cause making a fool out of yourself seems to be the real "noble
mission" for you and you're an expert at it!...LOL!
