I was just thinking about this and I think one reason that Linux gets so little Respect form Windows and Mac users is because it's Free.
I think over the years they've been brainwashed into thinking that a "Real" Op System is one that you have to pay for like Windows and that if it's Free, like 99% of Linux Distros are then it must not be any good. They think that if it was good they'd surely not give it away without charging a fee like MicorSoft does for their Op System.
I know that this idea on their part is totally wrong headed and that they have no real understanding of that Linux or the Linux Community is really all about but still, think about other things that you've gotten for Free, like they say, it's worth what you pay for it but in the Case of Linux Free really is a good thing and paying for something like a Windows Op System just shows what a sucker some people are. LOL.
