You are an idiot aren't you! You're mobo is an Asus, as I recall. They,
Asus were responsible for supplying the correct SATA drivers. They
didn't. As I recall, you either had to update the BIOS and/or dl the
correct drivers from Asus.
Now try and convince us that was Microsoft's fault.

The Geek Squad guy said your BIOS settings are probably not set
correctly. I remember him saying something about making sure
the option for a "Plug and Play Operating System" should always be
set to "disabled" as I recall.

Frank - I know Adam has a Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 motherboard and I think
it is no longer available for sale. Newegg.com customers only gave it
a 57% user satisfaction rating, so its probably been a lemon from the
beginning.

Just like Adam, but Adam has a 0.000003% satisfaction rating
