If you feel as though recent smartwatch offerings have been a bit of a "boys club," you may be in luck. According to a new report, Omate, the creators of the Omate X is set to launch the Lutetia, a smartwatch designed and engineered by a team of women for women.
According to Engadget, this female-focused smartwatch will reportedly be compatible with both Android and iOS, offer a week's worth of battery life, and will be powered by MediaTek's Aster MT2502 platform. Additionally, the Lutetia will serve mainly as a notification center, as well as providing a pedometer, music control, weather, and voice control features.
Rather than competing will full-fledged smartwatches, such as the Pebble, Omate's CEO, Laurent Le Pen, claims that the Lutetia will be going after offerings by designer brands such as Calvin Klein, Guess, and D&G.
The Lutetia is expected to debut tomorrow, and you will be able to pre-order one on Omate's website for $169. Are you guys interested in this femme fatale of smartwatches?
