OK, so I have an update labeled "se3curity update for windows 7for x64 kb2799494
I hit install and it starts then I get an errpo that says in effect that this update failed and gives me a code of FFFFFFFE, I click "get help" then click on "open the windows update troubleshooter" Do so and get window that says "troubleshooting has completed,,,the
troubleshooter made some changes to your system. try attempting the task again. then also says
Problems found repair windows update components.....fixed...green check mark
I hit close, go back to update start over again and end up the at the update page again, click on install updates starts out again, "creating restore point" etc. Then starts "installing 1 of1 for about 2 sec then here comes the error again. This update has
failed every day since Oct. 11.
It's getting tiresome as you can imagine. I'm finally trying to get it fixed. In the past I'll get tired, and "force" shut down.
