Hi,

I just upgraded a dell inspiron 8600 with nvidia geforce fx go5200
adapter. I am trying to locate all of the the nice graphics adapter
controls that were available when the laptop ran XP. Those controls
seem to have vanished. In particular I want to clone the output to the
s-video port so I can watch movies on the TV.

Are the controls gone or have they been relocated?

Hi Noel,

If you have not already done so, you will need to install the latest
display drivers for your GeForce series 5 card from nVidia.

'NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Advanced Search'

You can access the settings by right clicking on a empty space on the
desktop and click "NVIDIA Control Panel". The settings you want to
change should be under "Set up mulitple displays".

Hope this helps,
Shawn

I forgot to mention the inspiron is a dell laptop and the nvidia site
says you have to go to dell for video drivers. dell does not support
vista on this laptop so I am looking for alternatives.
