not able to open orkut and myspace pages

Hi guys,
I am not able to open my orkut in my laptop. I am using windows XP
updated regularly.
I am using IE7 and also Firefox.
Only Orkut and the Myspace login page has trouble in opening in the
IE7 browser.
While using firefox, Orkut page says waiting for img3.orkut.com...
just freezes at this stage..
Myspace page freezes at x.myspace.com
any idea why it is so??
Pls advice.

Add them to the safe list, check IE security settings & disable your firewall to see if
it's that disallowing you access
